Our History
1921
PermaChef, was founded in the City of Puebla, Mexico. The company began under the name of "La Madrilena", producing dress shirts for men.
1950
The company developed a patent of a fabric named, "Permatela", which helped to give a head start in the market of nurse’s caps.
1990 - 2000
PermaChef is founded as a new brand. Looking for innovation for its patent, the production of chef hats and a new line of gastronomic apparel began.
2005 - 2010
The catalogue of chef clothing started growing, offering chef jackets, pants, aprons, within other products. The first PermaChef boutique opened its doors in Puebla City, and later on locations in Guadalajara, Polanco (CDMX), and Veracruz.
2012 - 2015
For the first time PermaChef partners up with PINEDA COVALIN. A new boutique opens up in Mercado Roma (CDMX). The Frida Kahlo Collection is launched. Years later, boutiques in Cancun, and Lomas Verdes, Edo. Mex. open up.
2016
A new Brand House Boutique is opened in Toluca, Estado De Mexico. PermaChef is consolidated, and it is positioned as the number one chef’s clothing brand in Mexico through innovation, high quality, and most important, the great passion for dressing chefs.
2017 - 2018
The sports line Two Under as well as Sweet moments by Paulina Abascal and Regata by René Orozco were born. The Queretaro boutique and the Mercado Roma Coyoacan Boutique opens up which make a total of 10 Boutiques and 4 online stores around the world (Mexico, USA, Panama and Costa Rica).
